Apathy

Not interested in this nor that.  Nothing seems fun.  Sleep in, why not?  I go to bed early to escape the feeling for a little while longer. Sometimes the feeling tries to stay a while.  It’s tough, I try different ways to send apathy on its way but it is like the visitor that can’t take the hint that it's time to leave. It lingers and makes itself comfortable.

Apathy can come from a trigger such as disappointment.  This could result in an increase in tiredness, and a slight weight bearing down on your mind.  Making it cumbersome for your thoughts to move and gain momentum.

Taking action can help. So can helping others and focusing on them.  I have also found that doing nothing can start you on the path out.  If you dwell on apathy long enough it might get tired of you and leave.  Now, be wary this doesn’t slip into despair.  But, give yourself a break to feel this emotion and soak it in so that after it leaves you can really enjoy your non-apathetic state.
